Russian president Vladimir Putin told a group of brides 'I do' - when they asked if he wanted to pose with them for a selfie.

Putin and his entourage were walking through Moscow's Red Square when the group summoned him for a photograph.
To their surprise, he obliged, and the brides snapped away with the Russian leader in the middle of the group.

It is not clear why the soon-to-be newlyweds were gathered in a group, but it is likely to have been part of Moscow's birthday celebrations which took place on Saturday.
