Woman butchers husband with machete
A woman who butchered her husband with a machete in Nigeria’s Ogun State has explained why she did it.
Oluwakemi Otun, a housewife, told the police that she attacked her husband, Kehinde Otun, because he was planning to marry a second wife.She reportedly bought the machete two weeks prior to the attack and hid it in her room.
She then invited her husband to her residence for them to have a good time, according to report.
Oluwakemi reportedly received Otun well and they had fun.
However, when he fell asleep, she retrieved the cutlass and inflicted deep cuts on him.
Otun’s desperate cries drew the attention of neighbours, who rushed him to the hospital.
Police say Oluwakemi will be charged with either “wounding” or “attempted murder”.
