I Have Forgiven Shatta Wale – Andy Dosty

Host of Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Andy Dosty, has revealed that he has forgiven Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale with whom he had been feuding recently.
The two, who had a great friendship over the years, with Shatta Wale gifting the presenter $1000 last year, had a falling out earlier this year.
Andy, on one of the segments of his morning show, had asked people to comment on a tweet by Shatta Wale which indicated that Ghanaian youth are not making money because they were lazy.
However, that did not go over well with the Chop Kiss artiste who insulted his one-time best prA hurt Andy Dosty also recounted all that he had done for Shatta Wale and how the man was now repaying him with insults.
“I was that gentleman who came to Accra, took his CDs, went to Kumasi to share among radio stations and presenters; it was me. I drove around in Kumasi; my car, my fuel, showing him that love. Telling people there is a new kid on the block. I created a monster,” he stated.esenter on Twitter.
However, it looks like Andy has decided to forget about everything and move on. At the MTN Music Festival on Tuesday, March 5, Andy, who was the official DJ on the night made a statement before dropping one of Shatta’s hit songs, My Level.
He said, “I know there have been some issues between me and a certain gentleman, well I want you to do me this favour, please tell that gentleman that I have forgiven him.”
Touching on the issue in a previous interview on 3FM, Andy explained that he bore no malice whatsoever against the musician and had thought his post was one of the usual jokes he shared with the musician because they had a good relationship until he saw a video posted by Shatta Wale of an SM fan insulting him (Andy Dosty).
“There was a video of someone insulting me left, right and centre that he (Shatta Wale) has posted. That was when I saw the intensity of the matter,” Andy Dosty told MC Bobby.

Kobby Wutah Responds To Rumours Music Duo Wutah Splits Again


The internet was hit with news of the spit of music duo Wutah on Sunday, March 3.
Kobby Wutah, a member of the group was reported to have confirmed the group’s split in an interview on Hot FM.

However, speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Kobby Wutah refuted claims he confirmed the split of the group.
“I only said, me, my brother, Afriyie, and our record label NKZ, have sensitive issues we are dealing with,” he told Andy Dosty, host of the show Thursday.
Kobby Wutah revealed, he cannot talk alone on air about the issues faced by the group and prefers all parties involved sit together and speak about it.
“I am not going to confirm or deny anything. It will only be fair if we all in the studios to properly talk about it,” he said.
Even though the duo performed a couple of gigs together, they are have been seen doing solo projects and performing without each other.
Wutah Afriyie in October 2018 released a solo single ‘Why’. Afriyie in an interview in 2018 refuted claims the group was breaking up then.
“Like other seriously talented musicians, you can talk of Morgan Heritage from Jamaica or own R2Bees from Ghana, my endeavor to release a single is very similar to the examples listed and must not be taken as a move to break away from the group,” he said.
Kobby Wutah himself confirmed on Daybreak Hitz he has a song recorded in 2019 as a solo artiste with Tinny.
However, Kobby refused to comment on whether the song was recorded under his record label NKZ or if the label knows about his solo project.
Wutah, first split up in 2009 and reunited in 2017.
Their hit songs including ‘Bronya’ and ‘AK 47’ enjoyed massive airplay in the country and it was the anticipation of their fans they remain united.
The group also won the ‘Best Group’ in the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
