The Late Ebony Reigns

Not long ago, family and management of late Ebony launched two clothes, ‘Maame Hwe’ and ‘Aseda’ for the funeral and thanksgiving services of the deceased dancehall artiste which happen on March 24 and 25 respectively.

Sellers of the cloth in Accra are happy about sales of the materials which were released not long ago. According to the saleswomen who spoke to Zylofon FM, Ghanaians are patronizing the two clothes the family and management announced as official clothes for the funeral.

The happy traders, however, added that customers are complaining about the cost of the two materials. To them the vendors, GTP is a good product so they see the cost normal but shoppers think otherwise.

One of the sellers revealed that she purchases the material for Gh200 from the producers and sells it for Gh220 making a Gh20 profit.

Ebony died on February 8 in a fatal accident with two others on the Sunyani-Kumasi road when returning from Sunyani after a family visit.

Kupe hitmaker, Ebony Reigns was on Hitz FM with Dr. Pounds to talk about herself, her career and the way forward.

She has disclosed that men just can't stop chasing her left, right and center and that sometimes she finds it very difficult to go out.

According to her, men are attracted to her because of her personality and sex appeal. She went on to add that even some industry personalities chase her to the maximum.

“I get about dozens of proposals like everyday, I must admit. I think they are attracted to me because of my personality; who doesn’t like a hot girl? Well, and I think they are attracted to me because of my sex appeal as well.” Ebony right there gushing.

The Kupe hitmaker is known for dressing provocatively. According to her, she dresses that way because she’s into dancehall and there is no good girl thing over there, whatever the case is, one has to look hot.

“I think my style is totally different. I chose to dress this way because well, I grew up with it and also this is dancehall. Dancehall is dancehall, you can’t be a dancehall artiste and be doing any good girl thing.” Ebony on why she dresses provocatively.

Ebony also disclosed that she has 13 tattoos and still counting. She is set to release a new single soon.
