Former captain of Ghana Black Meteors, Yusif Chipsah has revealed that the Swedish Embassy in Accra on countless occasions refuse Ghanaian players visas due to their inability to provide them with their weighing cards and school certificates.
According to the former Asante Kotoko midfielder, currently three players of the Porcupine Warriors are still waiting or their visas to travel to Sweden.
He revealed that the situation is very worrying as most victims of this demand had already secured contracts with clubs in the scandenevianw country.
“They are demanding for school certificates and weighing cards before they will be given a visas.”
“What happens to players who don’t have school certificates and those born in the villages without a weighing cards?, he explained to Happy FM on why players are refused visas.”

Carlos Bacca Says He Would Like To Link Up With Unai Emery Again As AC Milan Star Reveals Why PSG Talks Broke Down

Unai Emery gives orders to his PSG side during their Champions League clash with Arsenal

  • Carlos Bacca worked with Unai Emery during his two years with Sevilla
  • Emery is currently in charge of PSG and Bacca is scoring for AC Milan
  • The Columbian had been linked with a summer move to West Ham
AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca says a move to Paris Saint Germain broke down because there was no space in their squad for non EU players.
The Colombian international was a wanted man during the summer, thanks to his exploits at the San Siro, where he hit 18 goals in his début season, attracting the attentions of Premier League side West Ham.
Bacca has said he would like to work under PSG manager Unai Emery again - the pair having enjoyed a successful partnership at Sevilla - but is focused on giving his all for Milan.

'Emery is the most important manager I've had during my career. The best one too,' he told Cadena Ser.
'He has improved my performances, I always felt at ease with him, because he always trusted me.
'He's also a good friend of mine, maybe this is the secret of such an excellent relationship.
'I'd like to work with him again in the future. But I am only focused on AC Milan at the moment.
Continuing where he left off from last campaign, Bacca has already scored three goals in three games for the Italians.

PSG 1-1 Arsenal: Alexis Sanchez Rescues Champions League Point For The Gunners

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina was given no chance by the Uruguayan's glancing header after just 42 seconds

Stomping bitterly away from the Parc des Princes, the locals now know how they feel over at Arsenal sometimes, in those dark moments when the howls of frustration echo as far as Finsbury Park.
Played the best football, had the best chances, were without doubt the better team, failed to win.
Somehow, having been second best by a distance all night, Arsenal came away with a point, and in doing so achieved one of their strongest results in Europe in recent seasons.

Paris Saint-Germain are exactly the type of team they have stopped beating of late – at least when it matters.
Contenders for the European crown, they sacked manager Laurent Blanc because he could not make a greater impression on this tournament. But familiar flaws remain under new manager Unai Emery.
Paris dominated, but did not make it count. Edinson Cavani missed what should have been a hat-trick, while Arsene Wenger's controversial selection in goal, David Ospina, was quite brilliant.
So this became one of those old-fashioned European smash and grab raids, but Arsenal won't mind that, either.
They didn't strictly deserve the point, but there won't be too much guilt on the flight home. It's been done to them often enough.
There were 12 minutes to go when Arsenal equalised with their first shot on target all game. Mesut Ozil did his best work of the night to set up a chance for Alex Iwobi, whose shot was saved by Alphonse Areola.
The ball rebounded straight to Alexis Sanchez, however, and he returned it with interest. Paris look stunned, as well they might. The odd flurry of corner kicks aside, Arsenal had barely been in this. For Wenger, though, it was a result shot through with vindication.
His critics were gearing up for another high time at his expense had Arsenal lost. His starting XI had found no room for Olivier Giroud, new signing Granit Xhaka, or goalkeeper Petr Cech.
So, had this game ended in defeat, Wenger's selections would have been held responsible even though Ospina, in particular, was outstanding.
Instead, his faith was supported by a performance that got the result Wenger would no doubt have shaken on at the start – and certainly 42 seconds in when Cavani scored or 20 minutes later with PSG running riot.
It was Cavani's second Champions League goal scored inside the first minute, a unique feat in the competition, and if he could only finish as well as he starts PSG would have been significantly clear before half-time.
Call it the Cavani conundrum, such a brilliant striker, yet one that seems to need five chances per goal. His header to give Paris the lead was perfect, but his misses after that gave Arsenal's suckers an even break.

Cavani had a terrific chance to score again for PSG with half-an-hour gone but fired wide after rounding Ospina
The Champions League anthem had barely stopped resounding around this concrete bowl stadium when PSG went ahead.
There were 10 passes in the build up but they were played at such devastating speed it seemed as if PSG got the ball from back to front in no more than two or three. The crucial pass, though, was played by the outstanding Marco Verratti in the heart of midfield.
He clipped it out to full-back Serge Aurier on the right flank and he was deep into Arsenal's defences before Nacho Monreal had time to act. Aurier took one, maybe two touches, and whipped in a quite superb cross met by Cavani at the near post.
No point asking what Cech would have done about it, either. The same as Ospina: nothing. He was powerless to intervene, Cavani getting ahead of Shkodran Mustafi, to send a glancing header into the net.
Adding insult to injury, Mustafi then spent the next 30 seconds moaning to referee Viktor Kassai, of Hungary, that as there was a stray ball on the pitch, the goal should not stand.
Considering this obstruction was in Arsenal's advanced right back position and the goal came down the opposite flank and was scored in the six yard box at the near post he didn't have much of a case. If he was genuinely distracted by it, though, it would at least explain why he was not keeping such a close watch on Cavani.
So the fastest Champions League goal in PSG's history, and Arsenal were chasing shadows.

A collections of flicks, back heels and feints in the ninth minute ended with an Adrien Rabot shot deflected wide for a corner.
Then, from a corner on the opposite side four minutes later, Angel Di Maria tested Ospina's nerve and positioning with a vicious in-swinger that was undoubtedly more shot than cross. The goalkeeper reacted well to tip it over and maintained that high standard for the rest of the match.
In the 19th minute, Ospina read Di Maria's long pass early and hared from his line to head the ball clear two yards outside his area. And last ditch defending was required again soon after when Verratti played a fine through ball that should have given Cavani PSG's second.
It was Monreal who saw it this time, chasing in from the left back position to cut it out with a despairing lunge that was not seized upon quickly enough by his team-mates.
As a result, Cavani was first to react, chasing the loose ball down and getting enough on it to travel past Ospina, now stranded yards from goal.

Cavani only had to complete a simple finish but tried to put it away with more power than was strictly necessary, losing accuracy doing so.
Slightly off balance, he steered the ball wide of the empty target and sunk to the ground in regret. Not for the last time. In the second half, Ospina saved brilliantly at his feet, before following that with an acrobatic stop from a volley by Di Maria.
One final quick swoop on Cavani to prevent a late winner and his job was done. It was his night. He couldn't get to the injury time corner that almost gave the points to PSG but neither could Marquinhos at the far post, thankfully, although it would have been justice from the French point of view.
Still, Arsenal have been slow starters in the group stage of this competition in recent seasons, so this was a welcome change of pace.
The rest of the group should be straightforward, even without Giroud in the next game, sent off along with Verratti late on for a childish episode of pushing and shoving, after a foul by the Italian.
It is Basle at home next for Arsenal. If they can do without Giroud here, they can certainly do without him there.

Arsenal Youngster Alex Iwobi Admits He Should Have Scored Winner In Hard-Fought Draw Against PSG

The Nigerian's (3rd right) effort was well saved by goalkeeper Alphonse Areola

  • Arsenal drew 1-1 with Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes
  • Gunners were dominated for the most part but ended the game strongly
  • Alex Iwobi had a golden chance to score the winner in the 83rd minute
  • The Nigerian went through on goal but his effort was saved by the keeper
Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi admits he wasted a golden chance to score the winner in his team's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
Alexis Sanchez took advantage of the home side's wastefulness to seal an unlikely point for Arsene Wenger's men at the Parc des Princes.
However, the Gunners had a huge opportunity to steal all the spoils with eight minutes to go as Iwobi was sent clear by Alexis.

Unfortunately for the visitors the Nigerian's curled effort was too close to goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, who parried the ball to safety.
And the 20-year-old believes he should have delivered a winning goal for his team
'I had the chance to score, but my main focus was to get it on target and also beat the goalkeeper, but it was a good save and I was unfortunate not to get the goal,' Iwobi told the club's website.
'The first chance I had I thought I was going to score [too], but I was just lucky Alexis put it away and I was just happy we were able to get a goal and come back into the game.'
'I think we performed very well and we got a good point,' Iwobi added. 'We fought back and we were able to get a point, we weren't able to get the second goal which we should have got. I should have got it to be fair, but we were a little bit unlucky.'

Celtic Captain Scott Brown Labels Barcelona Rout 'Unacceptable'

Scott Brown was furious with Celtic's second half display against Barcelona at the Nou Camp

  • Celtic were beaten 7-0 by Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday
  • The result was the Scottish club's worst ever in the competition
  • The Hoops conceded five goals in a completely one-sided second half
Celtic skipper Scott Brown described the second half of their 7-0 thrashing by Barcelona at the Nou Camp as unacceptable.
The Hoops were losing 2-0 at the interval through a Lionel Messi double, but Moussa Dembele had a penalty saved by Marc-Andre ter Stegen when it was 1-0 for the home side.
However, the Scottish champions capitulated after the break and Messi added a third for his hat-trick, Luis Suarez a double with further goals from Neymar and substitute Andres Iniesta.

It was Celtic's heaviest European defeat and Brown was not happy.
He told broadcasting media: 'Everyone in that changing room was disappointed. It was a heavy, heavy defeat.
'I think in the first half we had a penalty and I know we miss it but that's football, but it is the second half that is really disappointing.
'To lose five goals in 45 minutes is unacceptable. We didn't do well enough on the ball, they kept giving it back and they are entitled to score, they are a great team. But we should do better than that.
'It is hard to take but yet again, they are a great team but we need to bounce back.
'We have Man City the next game, and we need to take something at Celtic Park, and with our fans anything can happen.'

The Parkhead midfielder is looking to take some lessons from the Barca defeat, put it on the back burner and and get back on track in the league against Inverness on Sunday.
He said: 'They are the best team in the world, there is no doubt in that.
'But we need to defend better from the front middle and back, be more compact and brave on the ball and even here we usually do better than that.
'We have another big game on Sunday against Inverness and we need to keep our run in the league going, keep our 100 per cent run going and we will focus on the Champions League when it comes around again.'
