Sarkodie threatens to sue some bloggers over false publication

Some Ghanaian celebrity bloggers may soon be dragged to court as Ghana’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie threatens them with court action.
According to him in a series of tweets, this will serve as a deterrent to other bloggers as some bloggers just publish anything they see on social media with investigating.
He wrote: I think it’s about time we set some examples for these so called blogs / websites to sit up … Not been a fan of dragging issues but i figured it’s not only about me but the entire industry … If I don’t, that means I endorse wrong acts Just for likes clicks and comments y’all would break your integrity codes … Ah well .”
This comes after Up and coming actress and Busty model Pamela Odame Watara opened up on her love life on the Delay Show including having dating one of the six married musicians she starred in their music videos.
Pamela denied having had $exual relations with any of the artistes but conceded after Delay suggested to her she knew two of the musicians she slept with.
Pamela mentioned that she had featured in music videos of “Captain Planet, Joey B, Sarkodie, Coded and other three musicians who are not big.”

Shatta Wale And Sarkodie’s Barber Reveals How Much They Pay For Their Haircut

Popular barber known for servicing Ghanaian celebrities, and aptly called Celebrities’ Barber, has revealed the amount of money paid by some of his clients.
In a video seen, the young barber revealed that the celebrity who pays the highest amount is Shatta Wale.
Shatta Wale, the Celebrities Barber revealed, paid to the tune of GH?1,500 while Sarkodie paid GH?500 cedis.
Another artiste who is not known to be rich like the two aforementioned ones, Article Wan, is also said to be paying GH?600, passing Sarkodie.
Celebrities Barber explained further that Shatta Wale often gave him $200 and GH?500 cedis all amounting to GH?1,500.
But we heard at the background some people labeling Sarkodie as chisel to the extent that even Article Wan could afford to pay more than Sarkodie. The video has generated interest among fans of the musicians.
Some of them praised Shatta Wale, while others defended Sarkodie saying even if he paid less, he still looked handsome than Shatta Wale.
Meanwhile, Sarkodie has often been described as a miser by many people in the industry. He was even in the news for being mocked over his broken phone screen protector.
Shatta Wale, has also been in the news for a shocking revelation he made that he allowed his ex-girlfriend Shatta Michy to sleep with other men to raise money for him.

Every Season Has Its Artistes - Stonebwoy Replies Tic Tac

Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has played down criticisms that the Ghanaian music industry is currently being run by three artistes.
According to him, every season in the music industry has its own celebrated artistes.
Speaking to KMJ on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Tuesday, Stonebwoy said listeners get attached to the music of up-and-coming artistes who turn to rule the music scene till the songs of others take over.
“Once upon a time Tic Tac [now called Tic], Tinny and some other artiste were ruling the music scene. They were hotter when some of us were not,” he added.
Stonebwoy was responding to Tic’s comments on the Ghana music industry ruled by three artistes.
The hiplife artiste accused industry players and show organisers for booking three artistes for almost every show during the 2018 Christmas season.
According to Tic, the monopoly some of these artistes are enjoying have caused other singers to be sidelined. This, he says, does not help other artistes grow.

He explained that the music industry has a pool of musicians with different styles and vibes that need to be shown to the people.
“Once you create the environment where everybody has a gig then we’ll have a variety of acts at the shows,” he said.
However, Stonebwoy said a number of artistes being celebrated at a particular time have been the culture of the industry for a long time.
“Once upon a time people got used to the style of the “Ss” Sonni Balli, Samini and Sarkodie, but now the “Ks” Kuami Eugene, King Promise and company are doing so well,” he added.
The dancehall artiste noted that, beyond the complaining or talking about the problem, solutions should be looked into to help solve the problem.
“Maybe ten years from now, other artistes will be hotter than some of us,” he stated.
Stonebwoy stated the problem makes old artistes who have passed their prime less expensive.
“I think if you want to book Celine Dion now the price will be something else. It is like wine, the older is it the more expensive it should be but sadly the system here is different,” he added.
The “Mane Me” singer said, If the systems in the country are fit and everything is in place, the artistes in their prime today should be more expensive than the new artistes of tomorrow.
He said, “I check what we can do so we keep soaring because there are people who are 50 years like Richard Bonah and UB40 who are still kicking it.”
Stonebwoy explained a bigger platform should be created for music lovers and should allow underground artistes “a step to solving the problem of monopoly.”
He advised artistes to position themselves well in their prime to remain relevant and not follow certain routes.
“That’s how we’re going to still be confident, comfortable and not be bothered about certain things.”

Find Out What M.Anifest Said About Beef With Sarkodie

Ghanaian Rapper, M.Anifest

SARKODIE AND M.ANIFEST GOT GHANAIANS TALKING AFTER THE LATTER RELEASED GODMC, WHICH WAS PERCEIVED TO BE A DISS SONG TO THE FORMER AFTER OBIDI RELEASED HIS ‘BOSSY’, SINGLE.

Days after Ghanaians talked about the godMc and how they think it was a reply to the ‘Adonai’ hitmaker’s single, Sarkodie entered the booth and jumped on Desiigner’s Panda to release ‘Kanta’.

As at now, many think the two are not cool but M.anifest has denied ever throwing shots at his fellow. Speaking on Live FM with KOD, he said social media commentators blew things out of proportion when he released the godMC single.
“When i hear of beef, what runs in my mind is the exaggeration in showbiz by people…Everybody on social media has an opinion and there is no argument between us.” M.anifest said.
Talking about his relationship with the BET award-winner, he disclosed that ”we are colleagues and there is this mutual respect.” M.anifest added that it’s been long since he met Sarkodie.

KOD again hinted that he heard they both had some collaboration together and this was what Manifest had to say about that;

“We have collaborated and some of them are not out”
